- 1 Pound Ground Pork1 Pound
- 4-5 Slices Bacon, Chopped (Fry Additional Bacon If You Would Like More To Top)4-5 Slices
- 6 Wheat Buns, Split6
- 6 Leaves Lettuce6 Leaves
- 6 Slices Tomato6 Slices
- 1 Package Farmer John® Classic Bacon, Cooked According To Package Directions1 Package
- Jalapeño Ketchup (Recipe To Follow)
Prepare grill or heat broiler.
Grill bacon slices and chop.
Add chopped bacon to ground pork and form into 4 patties.
Grill or broil patties, turning once halfway through cooking, 14 to 18 minutes or until no pink remains.
Top bottom roll with patty, lettuce, tomato and bacon.
Cover with top halves of buns. Serve with jalapeño ketchup.
In small bowl, combine ½ cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeño pepper, and ½ teaspoon brown sugar.
Drizzle jalapeño ketchup onto bacon burgers.
