Directions
Preheat the oven to 550ºF for 45 minutes. If using a pizza stone, place it on the upper rack of your oven.
Spread the bacon pieces evenly in a skillet set over medium heat and sauté to medium doneness. It will cook further and crisp up while the pizza is baking. Remove bacon and drain on a paper towel.
Drizzle some olive oil over the pizza to cover the dough evenly. Spread grated cheeses, then the asparagus, onion, Brussels sprouts, bacon pieces, and goat cheese in dollops. Finish with freshly black pepper to taste.
Gently slide the pizza onto the pizza stone. Bake until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted, about 9-10 minutes.
Use tongs or a fork to slide the pizza from the pizza steel or stone onto a large plate. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the pizza and grated lemon zest. Serve in slices.
Pro Tips: If using pre-made pizza dough, follow the heat instructions provided on the package. If available, use a pizza oven or bake in a pizza pan to expedite the cooking process.
