Ingredients
- 1 cup Farmer John Classic Cut Bacon, cooked & chopped1 cup
- 3 cans Ready-to-bake biscuits3 cans
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted1/2 cup
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed1/2 cup
- 2 ounces Dried currants or Raisins2 ounces
- 2 ounces Dried pear, chopped into small pieces2 ounces
- 1/4 cups Pecans, roughly chopped1/4 cups
- Frosting, if desired
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Cook the bacon and roughly chop. Set aside
Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in a large mixing bowl. Add the chopped bacon, sugar, butter, dried currants, pear, and pecans, and toss until well combined
Pour mixture into a lightly greased 10-12 cup Bundt pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Biscuits should not be doughy looking. If necessary, cover with foil to prevent any burning
Remove from the oven and turn the Bundt pan over onto a serving dish. If desired, spread the top of monkey bread with frosting. Serve immediately.
