Cook Breakfast sausage according to directions, set aside.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Mix sour cream, cream of soup, butter, salt & pepper together in a large bowl.
Add cooked sausage, cheese, and green onions, tater tots then mix thoroughly.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 greased casserole baking dish. Top with more shredded cheese and green onions if desired.
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. It should be bubbly and crispy on top!
Pro tip: Great with with fried eggs and salsa on the side.
