  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes1 teaspoon
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic powder2 teaspoons
  • 1 teaspoon Salt1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper1 teaspoon
  • 16 ounces Black refried beans16 ounces
  • 4.5 ounces Green chile peppers, diced4.5 ounces
  • 15 ounces Chili without beans15 ounces
  • 10.5 ounces Condensed tomato soup10.5 ounces
  • 16 ounces Enchilada sauce16 ounces
  • 16 ounces Frozen tater tots, cooked & divided16 ounces
  • 6 Large flour tortillas, warmed6
  • 2 cups Napa cabbage, shredded2 cups
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped3
  • 16 ounces Mexican cheese blend, shredded16 ounces
  • Topping ideas: Scallions, Salsa Verde, Salsa Roja, Guacamole

Instructions


  1. Crumble ground sausage into a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Season with spices. Stir in refried beans and green chilies until well blended. Turn off heat and set aside

  2. Combine chili, condensed soup, and enchilada sauce in a saucepan. Mix well and cook over medium heat until heated through. Turn off the heat and keep warm

  3. Place warmed tortilla on a plate and spoon a generous 1/2 cup of the ground sausage mixture onto the center. Top with a portion of tater tots, shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese to your liking. Roll up tortilla around the filling, while tucking both sides. Repeat until you make 6 burritos and place in a sheet pan seam side down. Spoon a generous amount of the sauce over the top and sprinkle cheese and bake at 375ºF for few minutes until cheese has melted

  4. Top off with salsa verde, scallions, or desired toppings and serve while hot
