2 Packages (4 Ounce) Farmer John Ham Steak 1 Butternut Squash, Peeled, Seeded 2 Each Medium Carrots, Peeled Olive Oil, Drizzle Or More 1 Tsp. Black Pepper, Ground 1 Tsp. Salt Mashed Potatoes, Recipe As Follows Apple Cider Glaze, Recipe As Follows 4 Yukon Gold Potatoes 2 Tbsp. Butter 2 Tsp. Salt 1 Tsp. Parsley Dried Or Fresh 1/2-3/4 Cup Heavy Cream Chili Flakes If Desired 2 Red Apples 2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter 2 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup White Sugar 1 Tsp. Salt 1 Cinnamon Bark 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup

Key IngredientClassic Hickory Smoked Ham Steak 8oz.Directions
1Ham Steak: Preheat your oven to 450°F.
2Ham Steak: Cut butternut squash and carrots into smaller pieces.
3Ham Steak: Place squash and carrots on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
4Ham Steak: Roast butternut squash and carrots for 30-40 minutes until tender.
5Ham Steak: Prepare your Mashed Potatoes and Apple Cider Glaze while roasting the butternut squash & carrots.
6Ham Steak: Then, heat up a cast iron pan, drizzle with olive oil and brown each side of the ham steak for 1 minute.
7Ham Steak: Cut ham steak into 2 servings, plate each with mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and squash and top with Apple Cider Glaze.
8Mashed Potato: Cut & boil potatoes in salted water until fork tender.
9Mashed Potato: Drain water and add butter, parsley, cream and salt to the potatoes.
10Mashed Potato: Mash until nice and creamy. Add salt if needed.
11Mashed Potato: Keep warm.
12Apple Cider Glaze: Cut apples into thin slices, set aside.
13Apple Cider Glaze: In a medium stock pot on medium heat, melt butter. Then add apples to brown them, about 2 minutes. Keep stirring.
14Apple Cider Glaze: Add apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, 1 cinnamon bark and maple syrup.
15Apple Cider Glaze: Let simmer for 20-30 minutes until the sauce has thickened like syrup.
16Apple Cider Glaze: Keep warm.
