Ingredients

- 1 Pound Farmer John Ground Pork1 Pound
- 28 Ounce Can Of Crushed Pomodoro Tomatoes28 Ounce
- 7 Ounce Can Of Green Chiles, Chopped7 Ounce
- 15 Ounce Can Of Corn15 Ounce
- 15 Ounce Can Of Black Beans15 Ounce
- 1/2 Tbsp. Chili Powder1/2 Tbsp.
- 1/2 Tbsp. Paprika1/2 Tbsp.
- 1/2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder1/2 Tbsp.
- 1/2 Tbsp. Onion Powder1/2 Tbsp.
- 1/2 Tbsp. Salt1/2 Tbsp.
- 1/2 Tbsp. Black Pepper1/2 Tbsp.
- 1 Tsp. Cumin Powder1 Tsp.
- 1 Cup Water, More If Needed1 Cup
- 6 Hamburger Buns Of Choice6
- 6 Slices Cheddar Cheese6 Slices
- 3 Avocados, Halved3
Instructions
Drizzle olive oil into a Dutch oven or stock pot over medium heat. Sauté the ground pork, breaking into smaller pieces while browning the meat.
Once the ground pork is cooked, add tomatoes, chiles, spices and water. Let it simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes.
Keep simmering, and occasionally stirring, for an additional 15 minutes. Then add corn and black beans, and let it simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes. Keep warm.
Prepare your buns, add cheese slices on each and top with sloppy joe chili and avocado slices.
Enjoy while it’s hot.
