Pineapple Juice

2 cups
Brown Sugar
2 cups
1 cup
Honey
1 cup
1 teaspoon
Ground Cinnamon
1 teaspoon
6 cloves
Fresh Garlic, Minced
6 cloves
2 teaspoons
Salt (Divided in Half)
2 teaspoons
16 ounces
Frozen Fries (Sweet Potato or Crinkle Cut)
16 ounces
1 teaspoon
Black Pepper
1 teaspoon
Optional: Hawaiian Slider Buns

Directions


  1. On a sheet pan, bake sweet potato or crinkle cut fries according to package directions. Toss lightly with black pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt.

  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cut ham steaks to the skillet and cook in the butter until lightly browned.

  3. Transfer ham steaks to a plate and loosely cover with foil to keep warm.

  4. In the same skillet with the butter, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, garlic, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a simmer. Cook and stir until thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Pour the brown sugar glaze over the ham steaks.

  5. Serve ham steaks with baked sweet potato or crinkle cut fries on the side.

  6. Add warmed slider buns so everyone can make mini sandwiches!
