Directions
Cook bacon according to directions. Drain the fat and chop the bacon
In a medium saucepan on medium heat, add maple syrup and chopped bacon, and whisk together to simmer. Continue to cook, whisking intermittently, until the sauce has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and allow to cool until warm
Using a sheet pan, reheat waffles in the oven at 400°F for 5 minutes or until the waffles are crispy
Place cinnamon and sugar in a bowl, then coat each waffle. Place the waffles back in the oven to warm the cinnamon sugar for another 5 minutes
Place 2 Belgian waffles on a plate and drizzle with maple and bacon syrup. Additional topping ideas: blueberries, powdered sugar, and whipped cream
